1. Acceptance
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Dream Library. If you use the service on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Dream Library, and at least 16 in the EEA or UK unless local law allows otherwise.
- You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential.
- You may not share your account with other people or create accounts for abusive, deceptive, or unlawful use.
3. The service
Dream Library lets users create accounts, generate AI-assisted books, upload books, create and share audiobooks, read and manage books, subscribe to paid plans or buy one-time packs, publish selected content to a marketplace, and receive related support and notifications.
We may modify, improve, or discontinue features at any time. We may also impose reasonable usage limits, content limits, or safety controls to protect the service and its users.
4. Your content and AI output
You retain ownership of the prompts, blueprints, and other content you submit to Dream Library. Subject to applicable law, you also own the AI-generated books created from your prompts and blueprints, except to the extent a jurisdiction does not recognize exclusive rights in purely machine-generated material.
You grant Dream Library a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate, improve, secure, moderate, and support the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to submit your prompts, blueprints, uploaded assets, listings, reviews, and any other material you provide.
When you add an uploaded book, Dream Library sends limited excerpts to a third-party AI service for safety review. If you create an audiobook, Dream Library also sends relevant book text to third-party AI services for speaker annotation and speech synthesis. A speech provider's standard terms may allow submitted content to be used to develop, train, or improve AI models. You may use these features only if you have the rights to permit that processing.
5. Marketplace rules
- If you publish to the marketplace, you represent that your listing and its contents do not infringe another party’s rights and comply with the Acceptable Use Policy.
- You authorize Dream Library to display, promote, distribute, and moderate marketplace listings you submit.
- Marketplace fees, revenue shares, and payout rules are disclosed in-product or at the point of listing, sale, or payout setup.
- Dream Library may remove or restrict listings that violate policy, create legal risk, or undermine marketplace trust and safety.
6. Payments and subscriptions
- Paid features may be offered as recurring subscriptions, one-time purchases, or marketplace transactions.
- Mobile in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google where required by platform policy.
- Web checkout and creator payout flows may be handled by Stripe where offered.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the next billing cycle through the channel where you purchased them.
- Refund requests are handled by the original payment channel and any mandatory consumer law that applies to your purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Dream Library to create, publish, request, transmit, or promote unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or policy-violating content. The full rules are set out in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Intellectual property
Dream Library, its brand, software, site design, and service materials are owned by Dream Library or its licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no other rights are transferred to you.
If you send feedback, feature ideas, or suggestions, you grant Dream Library the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Dream Library at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, attempt fraud, abuse marketplace systems, or use the service unlawfully.
If your account is terminated, your right to access the service ends immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect. Where practical and lawful, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to preserve access to content you already unlocked, except where removal is required for safety, legal, or rights reasons.
10. Disclaimers
Dream Library is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for your intended use. Dream Library is not a medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advisory service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dream Library disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dream Library will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or content.
Dream Library’s total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Dream Library in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
12. Disputes and governing law
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@dream-library.app and giving us a reasonable opportunity to respond.
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the Dream Library contracting entity, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence continue to apply where required. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court or forum with proper jurisdiction under applicable law.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated version here and may also notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of Dream Library after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@dream-library.app.
